Wandering Waters Farm Wedding, Maple Falls Washington // Elizabeth & James

Wandering Waters Farm Wedding, Maple Falls Washington // Elizabeth & James

When I did Elizabeth & James’ engagement session, I had just gotten off a 16 hour travel day home from Thailand. After only a couple hours home I headed out to Point Defiance State Park to meet them and they were amazing! Needless to say I was very excited to capture their wedding day.

Westside Church Wedding // Bre & Elliott

Westside Church Wedding // Bre & Elliott

Bre & Elliott chose to do their engagement photos at a Seattle Park (Golden Gardens) and they continued that tradition into their wedding by doing their first look at a Seattle Park also. I had never been to Sunset Park but I can see why they were attracted to it. Offering stunning views out across the Puget Sounds to the rolling Olympic Mountains it was quite the backdrop, and backdrop it was because Bre & Elliott only had eyes for each other once they’d seen each other.

Boho Styled Shoot at Rosario Beach // Seattle Wedding Photography

A few months ago I was contacted by Sarah of Serenity Weddings who asked if I would be interested in collaborating in a styled shoot. I've been to one or two but I'd never be involved from the beginning so it was a fun process.

Downtown Seattle Wedding // Patrick & Marc

Downtown Seattle Wedding // Patrick & Marc

For those not in the know, Columbia Tower is Seattle's tallest building. 75 stories tall it towers over the surrounding buildings and offers a 360 degree view of Seattle from an unparalleled viewpoint. The top two floors are reserved for the Columbia Tower club which Patrick & Marc used as the venue for their beautiful day.

Everett Courthouse Elopement // Gina & Ross

Everett Courthouse Elopement // Gina & Ross

It was a cold and blustery day when I stepped out of Narrative Coffee to go meet Gina & Ross. We had planned to meet up outside the Courthouse in downtown Everett an hour before their appointment with the Judge. The plan was to do some outdoor portraits of the couple before we headed inside. That was the plan, but the reality was it was freezing cold, 30 degrees to be exact, and what little warmth the sun had brought that day was receding fast. Would they still be up for it?
