In the weeks leading up to Wyatt and Miranda’s engagement session I was working myself up into an anxious mess about driving over the pass in late December. Every day I was obsessively watching the weather and the traffic cameras, predicting that the day we were due to do the sesison there would be a freak snow storm that only struck when I was crossing the pass. I actually eneded up borrowing a friends 4x4 just to make sure I was fully prepared. All of which came to nothing because the day I drove over the pass it was gorgeous clear blue skies and though there was snow on the ground there were two “ruts” that were clear to the ground. Basically it was absolutely no bother at all!
Weddings are not just a celebration of love; they are a union of families, and Teriann and Dana's special day at the enchanting Saltbox Barn was a perfect embodiment of this sentiment. Nestled in a picturesque setting, Saltbox Barn provided an idyllic backdrop for the joining of two families, creating lasting memories for Teriann, Dana, and their children.
There’s something incredibly special about the simplicity of an elopement, especially when it takes place in a setting as unassuming yet profoundly significant as the Seattle Municipal Court. A few weeks ago, I had the distinct honor of documenting Leyan and Jacob’s intimate courthouse elopement, a celebration that was as heartwarming as it was unique.

On May 26th, 2023, Emily and Juan tied the knot at the scenic River Valley Oasis wedding venue in Snohomish, Washington. The couple had been planning their intimate wedding for months, and their Lord of the Rings theme was evident in every detail of their special day.
Bob & Vy’s wedding at the Seattle Aquarium may have been my favorite wedding of 2022, not for the couple or the venue or the food but because the people surrounding the couple were just the most amazing people.
On August 13th, 2022, Alex and Trevor, a same-sex couple, celebrated their love in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Block 41 in Seattle, Washington.
Jocely and Jason contacted me in December 2019 and we actually did an in person consult where they introduced me to the wonderful Boon Boona coffee in Renton. Fast forward a couple months and we all know what happened. While most couples were able to reschedule within a year, things were more complicated for the J’s because one of them is Canadian, with Canadian family they wanted at the wedding and the border remained closed. Once the border reopeened another “problem” came along but a happy one, they were pregnant!
Chelsea and Matt flew all the way into Washington to elope on the Washington Coast and then decided they could not wait a few days more to be married and so they hired me to capture their beautiful Washington Arboretum elopement on a beautiful Fall morning.
When Jess and Caroline asked if they could incorporate their Jeeps into their engagement session because down the line they were going to be a part of their wedding day, I knew their wedding day was going to be great! Not only was the engagement session awesome but their wedding took place at one of my favorite venues in all of Washington: Brown Family Homestead!
