Bre & Elliott chose to do their engagement photos at a Seattle Park (Golden Gardens) and they continued that tradition into their wedding by doing their first look at a Seattle Park also. I had never been to Sunset Park but I can see why they were attracted to it. Offering stunning views out across the Puget Sounds to the rolling Olympic Mountains it was quite the backdrop, and backdrop it was because Bre & Elliott only had eyes for each other once they’d seen each other.
Once they’d had a moment to take each other in we invited the wedding party over for some shots before heading to the church for the ceremony. Bre & Elliott opted for a traditional service with a sand blessing box filled by their friends and family as they enetered and then completed by them. It was a beautiful gesture once completed and shaken up.
After the ceremony the guests were treated to ice cream sundaes (it was a very hot day) while we completed family photos out in the sun. While the family went to cool off with sundaes I grabbed Bre & Elliott for some couples portraits before they headed back in and got their first dance on.
Set to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect, the two danced away gazing deeply into each others eyes. Parent dances had everyones allergies acting up all of a sudden so it was good thing the dancefloor . opened to all shortyly after . Then the time came for Bre & Elliott to be sent off through an arch of their friends.
