(Back story: In 2011 I moved to Vancouver from Glasgow for a year. When I arrived and was looking for a place to stay, I answered an ad Jasmine had place looking for a roommate. When I showed up she had her brother there in case I turned out to be a weirdo, thankfully I did not. We lived together for almost a year and had many a fun time!)
Backyard Vineyard has to be one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen, especially on such a beautiful day as we had for Jas & Nick's wedding day!
Getting ready took place at the beautiful Ocean Promenade Hotel in White Rock. While Jasmine got ready with best friend Michelle and Mom Renu, the boys played video games. Once ready Jas & Nick had a sweet first look before the wedding party hopped into a limo (yes, a limo!) to the venue. Upon arriving there was shotgunning of beers before milling around with friends.
Come 6pm it was time for the ceremony. Standing in front of a beautiful wall of green, her best friend by her side, Jasmine said I do to her other best friend and now husband, Nick. Their ceremony was short and sweet, exactly how they wanted it.
Family photos were quickly done and then it was time for the main event: drinking and eating! For eating there was tacos from a taco truck and for drinking there was wine, wine and more wine! The party continued into the later hours of the night upon which the limo returned to whisk them back to their hotel where the party continued into the wee hours of the night....
