Kelly and Tatjana were so intentional with all of their energy on their wedding day at Woodland Meadow Farms.
After getting ready together (my new favorite thing) we did a first look that was really more about fully taking each other in. From there we explored every part of the beautiful Woodland Meadows Farm grounds to find the best pockets of light for their couples portraits.
Then their family got to see them and we did some family portraits. Everyone was so lovely, and it was clear how happy they were for Kelly & Tatjana. People had flown in from Europe to be at their wedding so you know these two are special.
When it came time for the ceremony, Ryan got us started with his bubble guns and sweet dance moves, before the brides walked in together. Their good friend officiated for them and put in so many sweet details to personalize it just for them.
After a first kiss they headed back to their getting ready cottage to sign the license and have some downtime before rejoining cocktail hour and saying hello to all their guests. Some couples will stick to one group but these brides made sure to walk around and talk to every single one of their guests which I thought was incredibly sweet.
Once everyone was seated for dinner the brides gave a welcome toast thanking everyone for coming out to celebrate them. After, once dinner had started, I kept looking over to see the two brides deep in conversation, smiling and laughing, touching each other and it was just the sweetest thing. They weren’t doing it for show, they weren’t doing it for their guests, they were doing it because they were so in love.
As everyone finished their delicious meals (served up by Twelve Baskets Catering) we migrated over to the dancefloor where the couple shared their first dance then did a sweet twist on the parents dance where they each danced with their fathers, then switched out to their mothers, then switched back to each other and had their parents dance as a couple with them on the dancefloor. It was a very touching “passing of the torch” moment.
But then the dancefloor really opened and for over two hours this crowd danced their socks off! H-O-T-T-O-G-O was probably the biggest hit of the night followed closely by Abba of all things. A Sounds Unlimited kept the dancefloor packed all night.
And everything ran smoothly thanks to Cindy and the rest of the team from Aisle Less Traveled.
