I first met Karissa and Logan back in 2019 at Karissa’s sister Kayla’s wedding that I captured. A few months after Kayla & Tanner said I Do, Karissa reached out to me to see if I could capture her wedding, of course I said yes! Unfortunately then 2020 got in the way and they had to postpone their wedding but we still wanted to capture their engagement session while we were having the beautiful fall weather we had last year.
Seattle Sunset Elopement // Marjorie and David
Marjorie and David were originally supposed to get married on June 20 with all their family & friends, but then COVID happened. I feel like I could just copy & paste that for all my blog posts the next few months. It sounds like they were downsizing but actually the day of, it seemed like the most natural thing in the world for it to be just the two of them speaking their truths to each other.

Richmond Beach Portraits // Plus Size Pioneer
Last summer when I was considering switching camera systems from Canon to Sony, I rented a Sony A7III and asked Andrea if she wanted to model for some portraits for me to test it out. We headed out to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park on a beautiful afternoon just as the sun was setting and captured some magic!

A milestone shoot with Michelle - Seattle Portrait Photography
Michelle contacted me last month to schedule a portrait shoot for a very special reason. She wanted to mark five years since she kicked cancer's ass! How great is that? She even had a specific location in mind, the beach that her family had property close to where she would summer growing up. How perfect is that? The weather was even quintessentially Pacific Northwest, drizzly and windy! But Michelle loved it and we got some great, raw shots which was exactly what she wanted.
