Jay & Josh’s wedding was impacted not only by COVID but also by the wildfires, yet they didn’t let it stop them from having the absolute best day.
I think many people would have a Debbie downer of a day if they had to downsize their wedding due to COVID and then days before it had to downsize again because of wildfires. But you’d never have known that the wedding they had was anything but their original plan if you saw Jay & Josh’s faces on their wedding day. The entire day they both had smiles plastered on their faces and let nothing get them down.
Officiated by a great friend and witnessed by just six others, Jay & Josh said I Do in the backyard of their new home under a beautiful home made wooden arbor. As is the new norm, they streamed the wedding on Zoom so all their loved ones that couldn’t make it could still be a part of the shenanigans.
After the ceremony was over, it was time to party! Since the wedding got downsized at the last minute there was still food and drink for many more, something this crew had absolutely no problem with. As I took my leave there was shots happening and it was clear the merriment was going to last long into the night and a good time was going to be had by all!
