Rachel and Trent’s intimate elopement at The Lodge at St. Edwards State Park was the perfect adventure elopement within the city.
When I met Rachel and Trent for their consult prior to them booking me for their elopement, we spent almost four hours sitting talking in the sun. So I knew their intimate elopement at The Lodge at St. Edwards State Park was going to be great because it felt like I was showing up and cheering on friends.
The day started with a first look on the lush grounds of The Lodge. I put Trent, who looked dapper AF, in place and then collected his soon to be wife and when they saw each other it was such a sweet moment.
We spent some time wandering the ground of The Lodge at St Edwards State Park before heading inside for their ceremony. Attended by just their parents, son Oliver and a friend who officiated it was beautifully intimate and exactly what they wanted.
As well as a wedding ring exchange Rachel and Trent did a handfasting ceremony with a gorgeous embroidered rope. After say I Do, they were officially married! A quick round of family photos followed before the cake was cut.
We then headed back out into the grounds again for some married couple wedding portraits. After that I left Rachel and Trent with their family to celebrate the night away.
