One of my favorite parts of a wedding is the "first look". Whether it's a soon-to-be husband, a mother or father or the bridesmaids, it's always such a delight to see the look on peoples faces when they see the bride for the first time in her dress.

I always encourage bride & groom's to have a first look. It tends to be a very emotional moment so it's nice to have it be intimate instead of in front of all your guests. It's also just a nice bit of downtime for the couple, and a great time to get some portraits in. Wedding days tend to be stressful and very busy so it's nice for the bride and groom to get a little alone time before it all kicks off.
