Rachel and Emma flew in from Wisconsin to Washington for a gorgeous elopement in Ballard on the rooftop of their AirBnb. Surrounded by just five of their nearest and dearest they said I Do in a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony.
During the ceremony they had a “mixing moment” where they took a blank canvas, a pot of paint each of their favourite colours and then mixed it all together. It was a really cool visual representation of their marriage and coming together as a couple. You could see where the paint was it’s original colour by itself, but then there was also moments where they had blended together to create something new. Plus it’s going to make a great piece on their wall back home!
Afterwards we wandered down to the Ballard Locks to get some wedding and family photos in the beautiful greenery. It was so fun chatting with them all and hearing them talk about new things they were seeing in Seattle that I had become so used to that they weren’t special anymore. It was a nice reminder that we’re so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world here in the Pacific Northwest.
