When I suggested to Jess & Caroline that we do their engagement session at Rosario Beach, I expected a little pushback because it is a good ways away from Seattle. Turns out during the pandemic they moved to Whidbey Island so it was onlt about 15 miles from them! Talk about serendipity!
Rosario Beach is one of my favorite session spots because its natural beauty is just unreal. You can stand on the cliffs and just have the most amazing view out to the Puget Sound. On a clear day you can actually see Vancouver Island!
Not that Jess & Caroline were looking for Canada, they only had eyes for each other. After we’d wandered around the park and watched the sunset we drove a little ways down the road (we had to leave the park because of a very overzealous park ranger closing the park at sunset) to do some photos with their Jeeps. Yes, plural of Jeep.
The ladies each drove to the session separately in their Jeep so they could get photos with both, because hilariously it’s a big part of how they met! I love when my couples have stories like that.
Jess & Caroline were supposed to get married in August 2020 but thanks to COVID they postponed to 2021. But I’m so excited to shoot their wedding next year at one of my favorite venues ever, Brown Family Homestead!
