Last night I had the pleasure of spending some time with the beautiful Mika who is waiting for her forever home. Adoptable through Forgotten Dogs Rescue, she is just the sweetest pup! Read more about her below:

“Meet Mika! Mika is still single and ready to mingle. Are you looking for a lovely little gal to share your life, and couch with? If so, then Mika may just be the girl for you!

We estimate that Mika was born in May of 2015, and weighs about 55 pounds. She was bailed out from the Yakima Humane Society in early August 2016, after spending three long months in there waiting for a human of her very own. When she left the shelter, Mika had demodectic mange which caused hair loss around her eyes, but that has been treated and her fur has grown back and is silky soft!

Mika is a happy, loving girl who wants nothing more than to curl up and snuggle with you. She knows basic commands, is crate trained, and house trained. Mika also loves walks and is learning to walk like a graceful little lady on a leash. She always gives everyone who meets her at adoption events “hugs” and kisses, and will then offer up her belly for a belly rub!
Mika is the sweetest girl with lots of love to give and with a little patience and guidance, she will be the most amazing dog on the block!

Mika is spectacular with people, but she tends to try and “her” people from other dogs, so would be best in a home as the only dog. She also needs a home with no small animals.

She will flourish in a patient home that will continue her obedience training. She wants nothing more than to please you and if you give her your heart, she’ll give you hers! ”
