A few weekends ago I met Tyler and his Mom down at Carkeek Park in North Seattle. Tyler was in town to go to an audition for a summer intensive program with the Northwest Ballet School and his Mom asked if I could take some photos of him. I of course said yes and suggested Carkeek Park because I love the contrast of ballet in an organic setting.

After doing some ballet shots I asked Tyler if we could do some traditional headshots and he said yes but that he was awkward in front of the camera. As you'll see below, this kid is anything but awkward and if he decides ballet isn't the thing for him anymore (which I doubt he will because he seemed very passionate about it) he could definitely have a career in modelling.
