Leo and Ruby turned one last weekend and not only did we do a beautiful family shoot at the park but during their birthday party we also did a cake smash!

For those not in the know a cake smash is essentially what it sounds like, a cake getting smashed. Babies love exploring things with their hands and it usually ends up with cake all over said baby and it looks adorable, unless you're the parent that has to clean them up afterwards!

Ruby was right into her cake, whereas Leo was a little hesitant. That changed however when she started trying to pinch his cake!
